Continuing the legacy begun by the Farm Security Administration photographers during the dust-bowl depression years of the 1930s, these three photographers have produced a small volume which shows both the similarities and differences in the lives of agricultural workers. Paul Taylor, renowned labor economist and co-author with his wife Dorothea Lange of the 1939 classic An American Exodus, has contributed part of the introductory essay.
